How to wash nano?
A practical guide to washing and drying LADA nano pieces: gentle care, washing inside out and no fabric softener. For a specific garment, always follow its care label.

One of the many benefits of our pieces is the longer time you can wear them and, with it, their modest demands on water and energy. You do not need to wash them as often; with most fabrics, light soiling can even be "wiped off" by rubbing the fabric against itself. For clothing to truly last for years and keep looking perfect, however, it does need careful handling.
So how do you wash nano?
It is no rocket science. Just follow these steps:
- always wash nano clothing inside out,
- with laundry of a similar colour,
- without zips, appliqués or large buttons,
- at 40 °C at most,
- use a gentle detergent,
- do not use fabric softener or bleach,
- do not tumble dry.
For a gentler wash, you can put our finest material, CHYT, in a protective mesh bag and wash it on the hand-wash programme. This removes any chance of the nanomaterial coming into contact with parts of the other items in the wash that could leave tears in the material.

The best thing you can do for your piece by Lada Vyvialová is to shake it out well after washing and hang it on a hanger to dry. That way the piece keeps its original shape best, and you will not even need to iron it.
We recommend always storing the clothing in the wardrobe on a hanger, whether it is a dress, a top or trousers. Even when you take it off and want to keep it for wearing again. So that our clothing can be stored on a hanger, every piece has hanging loops sewn in. That way the piece sits perfectly on the hanger despite its loose cut.
